Our Values
Expanding Access
We don't just observe; we lead and propel the movement towards attainable housing. This emphasizes active leadership and momentum in addressing a critical community need.
Fostering Dialouge
Our mission begins with open, honest dialogue. By initiating crucial discussions, we break down barriers, address misconceptions, and build a shared understanding necessary for progress.
Catalyzing Change
The essential element that brings diverse groups together and accelerates the journey toward practical housing solutions. Our role is to facilitate collaboration and inspire the innovative thinking needed to build a more attainable housing future for Livingston County.

Our Vision for the Year Ahead
Beginning in 2025, Housing Catalysts is focused on two primary initiatives to address our county's housing needs.
First, we are committed to gaining a comprehensive understanding of Livingston County's housing wants and needs, examining specifics for each municipality. This includes a thorough review of existing Master Plans and zoning regulations, alongside kicking off a targeted housing study that prioritizes municipalities with established infrastructure.
Second, and crucially, we aim to proactively attract and connect housing developers with specific, viable housing projects across the county, transforming insights into tangible progress.
Our mission is to develop a S.M.A.R.T. (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound) work plan for the next 5-7 years that will lead to the development of significantly more affordable, attainable, and workforce housing in Livingston County.
